Terms of Service

JobFocus aggregates UK job listings into one feed, scores and tailors your CV against roles using AI, and helps you prepare to apply. The "Apply" action opens the source job page; you upload the CV you reviewed and submit the application yourself.

We do not auto-submit applications and we do not scrape sites that prohibit it. The final human review and click is part of the design.

You must provide accurate information, keep your login secure, and be responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old.

• Use the service only for your own personal, non-commercial job hunting.
• Do not attempt to scrape, resell, overload, reverse-engineer or disrupt the service.
• Do not upload content you have no right to, or that is unlawful.
• Do not misuse the AI features to generate misleading or fraudulent material.

You keep ownership of your CV and the content you provide. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you (including sending relevant text to our AI providers for scoring, tailoring and prep). We do not claim ownership of, sell, or train models on your content.

Scores, tailored CVs, cover letters, interview questions, roadmaps and similar outputs are AI-assisted suggestions, not guarantees. They can contain mistakes. Review and edit everything before you use or send it — you are responsible for what you submit to employers.

JobFocus offers a Free tier and a paid "Plus" tier. The features included in each are described in the app and may change. Any pricing, billing and refund terms will be presented to you before you pay.

Job listings and apply links lead to third-party sites and job boards that we do not control. Their terms and privacy practices apply once you leave JobFocus, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that you will get interviews or job offers, that listings are complete or accurate (they come from third parties), or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on AI suggestions or third-party listings. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or to protect the service and other users.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms; we will note the "last updated" date and flag material changes.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the service. We may transfer these terms as part of a reorganisation or sale of the business; you may not transfer your account without our consent.
